P: Export/Extract DNGs shot in Lightroom Mobile App to Camera Roll or Computer

Hello. I would like to request a feature be added to Lightroom Mobile for iOS to export RAW DNG files shot withing the iPhone Lightroom Mobile app as DNGs to the camera roll. I am trying to sync to my desktop app but apparently it's been already been synced to some other catalog I no longer have access to. I cannot proceed without deleting all the images I shot in RAW on the iPhone.

I'm trying to work out how to export photos from LR mobile app ( synced from my desktop) into my Google photos on my Android Google pixel phone so I can post to Instagram. Maybe this should be a new thread?

You do this using the share button that looks like a square with an arrow coming out of it. You should be able to directly share to Instagram or to export to the photo roll. You shouldn’t have to go through the photo roll step though and should be able to go straight to the Instagram app from Lightroom on mobile.

I have an iPhone XS fully updated, and what I have founds is, I have to save the .dng file to a folder on the iCloud, and then drag and drop to the photo app on my Mac. You can no longer export from Lightroom to the Photo app with .dng files. Which really sucks. Hopefully they will rectify this situations sooner rather than later 🙂

The ability to save dng to the camera roll is still there. In the share button simply tap on the little settings icon right next to “export to camera roll” and select original as the format
