Announcing a new feature now in Adobe Camera Raw (17.2) – Removal of Distracting PeopleUnder the Remove dialog, under Distraction Removal, we have added an item called “People”.   This feature supports faster and easier detection and removal of distracting people in an image. It is offered as a Tech Preview in the Adobe Camera Raw Plugin-only and is available now. Camera Raw 18.7: Select People fails because ML model is not loaded / People model not provisionedI'm having a persistent problem with Select People in Adobe Camera Raw 18.7.System Adobe Camera Raw 18.7 (18.7x2743) Photoshop 27.10.0 Windows 11 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU The symptom is that Masking > People reports:“Unable to select people in this photo.”This occurs consistently with photographs containing clearly visible people. Select Subject, however, now works correctly.I originally also had problems with Adobe AI models failing to download. Interestingly, connecting through a VPN (UK connection routed via the Netherlands) allowed the Select Subject models to download and Select Subject then started working.I have since completely rebuilt the Camera Raw ModelZoo by renaming:%APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw\ModelZooand allowing Camera Raw to create a clean ModelZoo while connected through the VPN.The fresh ModelZoo successfully downloaded the Select Subject components, incl

1、I am currently using a very old version of dng_sdk, 1.4.0, and I do not want to upgrade to 1.7.1.2、Many of the current dng_sdk vulnerabilities have been fixed by upgrading to newer versions, with no fixes provided for the lower versions.3、I would like to know: is there any plan to backport the vulnerability fixes to the lower versions? If so, what is the rough plan?

In the latest version of Camera Raw, some keyboard shortcuts have changed. Previously, you could rotate an image simply by pressing L.Now, however, they’ve switched to the combinations Ctrl + ] and Ctrl + [.I can no longer rotate the image because, to type square brackets on my Italian keyboard layout, I have to press Alt + è or Alt + +. Alternatively, Ctrl + Alt + è or Ctrl + Alt + +. The rotation doesn’t respond to the command. What should I do? It seems it’s also impossible to change the Camera Raw shortcuts.  thanks

macOS 27.0.1 / Photoshop 27.11 / ACR 18.7This possibly dates back to when Intersecting Masks first came out.It has been bothering me for a very long time. To create an intersecting mask, you create two masks that intersect with one another.And when adding the second mask, the default behavior of the brush is ADD, you press alt/opt to switch to SUBTRACT. As long as you stay in ACR, nothing will go wrong. But if you close and re-open ACR, and go to that very intersected mask, the default brush behavior of the second mask becomes SUBTRACT, and you have to hold alt/opt to ADD. You find this bug only in ACR, not in LrC or LR.Lightroom got the cursor indicators mixed up, though. 

Hello, I have Adobe Photoshop 2026 and Camera Raw 18.7. When I use AI filters, some of them are not working. It says, “Could not update all AI settings. " I updated all my graphics drivers, even uninstalled and installed Photoshop and Camera Raw. No luck. Also, when I click the update all button, it still says, "Could not update all AI settings." Update all the graphics drivers and other drivers. Still the same. Error message ImageAdobe Photoshop 2026 Camera Raw 18.7 Intel Core I9 11900 64GB RAM RTX 5070Ti Intel UHD Graphics Windows 11 (up to date)Graphics acceleration is fully supported by the RTX 5070 Ti. But still getting the same error.If anyone can help me with regards, I would much appreciate it. Thank you.

For more accurate results, be sure to include the object's shadow in your selection and/or expand its size.    Detect Objects uses AI to find the objects underneath a brushed area.
