In Lightroom Classic this type of filtering is a core function easily accessed.

 

Not what you asked, I know, just thought I'd mention it 😉

 

Generally, any kind of bulk processing is much more efficient and streamlined in LrC.

Sorting by file type is not an option in Camera Raw.

You could make a feature request but I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for that to be implemented.

I don't know how many different file types you are working with, but you can sort by file type in Bridge then color label them. There are six colors available including "no label". You can then sort by color label in Camera Raw. That may work for you.
