Hi  There ,

In Captivate you  can  go  to  Edit  >Preferences  > General  Settings  > change  the  grid  size  value .

The  larger  the  value , larger  the  gap  between  the  dots  in  the  grid .

Regards ,

Ajit

In px, default is 16px. A print unit like mm has no sense for an applicationthat is meant for web. I know that PPT is defining the resolution in print units, but that is simply crazy and one of the reasons I don't appreciate PPT at all, seems amateurish.

Ctrl-arrow combinations will move or resize over that distance. More information in this old blog post, that is still valid: Shortcut Keys: Moving and Resizing Objects - Captivate blog
