I'm trying to submit a ticket to our IT to get ours updated, but when I go into 'Help' > 'Check for Updates' it says 12.5 and that my software is up to date? Did they pause the update because of all the issues I'm reading about?

This is also happening to me. I am weary of clicking links to download updates when I've been able to do it the way you've described before. Following....

It's a shame this update did not include basic spell-checking functionality. Also, the update mentions hyperlink editing, which I was looking forward to but unfortunately, I am still unable to edit the colour of hyperlink text – contrast was an issue with the hyperlink colour and my background colour.

We really appreciate your time and patience while we investigated this issue.
We would like to inform you that the problem you have reported is related to the accordion widget. The error is reproducible on the slides where the accordion widget is used. Specifically, it has been observed on slide numbers 26, 38, 44, 77, 90, 98, 108, 116, and 124.

To confirm the behavior, we created a test project in Captivate 12.5 using the accordion widget and then upgraded it to Captivate 12.6.
The same issue occurred, indicating that the problem is specific to the accordion widget in 12.6. Other widgets are unaffected.

We have logged this issue with our engineering team under
    Bug No: CAP-4206343.

Meanwhile, You could follow the below mentioned Workarounds:
    1. Delete and re-add the accordion widgets directly in Captivate 12.6 on the affected slides. This should resolve the issue.

    2. Alternatively, you may choose to continue working in Captivate 12.5, where this problem does not occur.
Below is the installer for Captivate 12.5:

The link to the 12.5 installer they sent, went to a version for the PC.  I am on the mac. They knew I am on the Mac.  Had to call again 😞

I am trying to update right now....why does it hang/stop at 95% and saying "<1 minute left"?  This is the second time I am trying. I quit/force quit the first attempt and it seems to have messed up my Cp 12.5 where now it crashes a lot. Does the update really just take a loooooong time and seem stuck at 95%? How long should I let it stay this way?

    Cheers!
