Adobe Captivate 4

Hi there,

I need to use adobe captivate 4 in order to transfer some older files into captivate 5. Is there anyway i can download a trial of captivate 4?

Please see :

• Captivate 4 is no longer supported, so any issues with the installation or project related query is not supported
• We are giving you a link from FTP server, will request you to download the product as soon you see this link, as FTP is updated periodically and the links might not work
• Older version of Captivate supported older standard of Action Script, also Captivate 4 supports Action Script 2, so there are chances that some of the objects of your older project might not work in upgraded project. you might also get some formatting changes in the project after upgrading
• I will request you to keep a copy of all the project you wish to upgrade because once the projects are upgraded and saved with newer versions, they cannot be opened in older versions of captivate.

Hello there,

Adobe Captivate 4 is currently not available for download from any location. The link mentioned was from an FTP server which may not be accessible any more. If you have the 4 file, you can open it in 5 as well.

Actually, it is from the  Licensing Website (LWS). So although Adobe was completely unhelpful, I got what I needed.
