Adobe Fonts not showing in Adobe Captivate 12.6

I have just installed and activated Adobe Fonts via creative cloud. I can see them in other Adobe products and MS Products. I have tried, unistalling/reinstalling, clearing cache, logging out, resetting the font toggle in CC settings. I've tried everything and can't figure it out.

The workflow is as follows: visit fonts.adobe.com, select a font family, and click “Add Family” or “Add Font.” The fonts should appear in Captivate after restarting the application.

In Creative Cloud, there’s an additional option to install fonts directly on your system. However, in Captivate, only Creative Cloud fonts are displayed under the Adobe Fonts section, while system-installed fonts appear under System Fonts.

Hi,

After adding a font family to your Creative Cloud account through fonts.adobe.com, you may need to restart Captivate to see the newly added fonts appear in the font dropdown list.

If you don’t see the fonts under Adobe Fonts, it’s likely that the font family was installed on your system, which would move it to the System Fonts section. Please try using the “Add Family” or “Add Font” option from fonts.adobe.com only—without installing it on your system—and check again.

Also, ensure that you have the appropriate font license and are signed in with the same Adobe account in both Captivate and Creative Cloud.

For context:

So, if you get fonts from CC and activate them ONLY, they will show in Captivate. However, if also you "install" (technically a misnomer, there is no physical file) the active fonts on your machine to use in other apps like PowerPoint or even other Adobe products like ACROBAT, they will no longer show in Captivate. This has got to be a bug, right? FYI, even when installed, the fonts do not show up in the system fonts (likely because there is no physical file).
