Animation timing after button press

(Captivate 2019 on windows 11)I have some textboxes hidden. On screen is a button that , when clicked, should show the 3 textboxes one at a time.  But, when I wait before clickingg the button, the animation of the 3 textboxes has already occured, How can I get timing to begin upon button click?

Please show a screenshot of the Timeline panel of that slide.  I have some problems with terminology: are those 'textboxes' captions or shapes or Text Entry Boxes?  What do you mean by 'animation', is that an Effect applied to those items or is it a real animation (like an animated GIF or an OAM)? Are those items staggered on the Timeline so that they appear one at a time or do you use an Advanced action including the Delay Next Actions by... command? The Timeline screenshot can tell me several answers to those questions. It is clearly a Timeline issue. Have a look at:
