Background audio missing on some slides

Participant ,

Hi,

Captivate 9.0.2.437

I have 10 different captivates. Each has the same first 8 slides. On a few of these courses, but not all, the background audio (music) cuts out at slide 9. The background audio is set to loop, and fade in and out when there is narration. The fades work nicely is most places. I'm just not sure why slide 9, which has no narration, losses the background music. I have removed the bg audio and re-added, but it still acts the same. Any advice out there?

Thanks,

Dan

Not sure why, but I had to rebuild the slide from the ground up. New slide, new master slide, copy objects from previous slide, generate new audio, cc, everything, and it worked.

I also want to add that the BG audio has been removed, deleted from the library and re-added. Also, the audio returns on slides where the narration does not exist. Then in subsequent slides, the bg audio does adjust accordingly on slides with narration (audio lowers).

I wanted to ask if you were talking about a 'template'? Or even about an upgraded theme? Because that would have been aa possible cause of your problem.  You found out that rebuilding the master slide (part of the theme) solved the problem. I don't think you had to recreate the audio file normally.
