Hi
I have noticed that it is not possible to use the On exit function on slides.
None of the people on my team can use it. We have different acounts of the latest version of Captivate. But we all have the same problem.
Have they diactivated this function?

You may find that it is actually your web browser that has changed.
For example, certain JavaScript functions that were previously able to be used to terminate a page or a frameset have now been deprecated in some web browsers.
Window: unload event - Web APIs | MDN (mozilla.org)
Deprecating the unload event | Web Platform | Chrome for Developers

That sounds bad 🙂
Is there a way to fix it?

Yes. But if this DOES turn out to be the reason for your issue, then it would mean Adobe would need to reprogram the way the Exit event is handled inside the published output.
I suggest you get in touch with Adobe Support and ask them for technical assistance to resolve this issue.
It's been known for some years that it would eventually happen.

Unfortunately it's been one of the "features" that hackers have been able to misuse to hijack browser sessions.
That's one of the reasons it's being deprecated. There are safer ways to code similar behaviour.

Any examples of that type of coding?

Sorry. The code I am referring to is something that Adobe engineers would have to refactor inside the Captivate application. Not something you can alter from outside the app.
