I am unable to open any of my Cap 6 projects.  I get a message that says I do not have permission to open, but I am the only one using the program.  I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 and MicroSoft 2010.

Any help would be appreciated to find out where I can grant myself permission to view my own files.

Thanks

You only need the permission to execute Captivate as administrator: use right button on the shortcut for CP and check 'Run as administrator'. No need to have full admin rights on the system.

Greetings Lieve,

I am wondering if Kelli has a read permission problem with the projects rather than a problem with Captivate?

Kelli, try this...

Copy your Captivate project(s) from their current location to your desktop (not a recommended storage location but this is just a test).

#1. Were you able to copy your projects?

#2. Can you open them into Captivate now?

Also, Lieve was correct. Captivate run with admin rights in most cases.
