Captivate 4 and Missing SCO Files

Hi,

I upgraded to Captivate 4 today, and I'm having issues with the new version already. I converted several of my Captivate 3 files to Captivate 4, modified the new SCORM required fields (Course ID and SCO ID ... and ensured that they weren't the same), and published the files as ZIP files. Cap4 did not publish any of the SCORM resources (manifest, SCORM support, etc) or zip the files.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the application two times, and I uninstalled Cap3.

Any idea what is happening here?

Thanks,
Dana

Hi Dana,
What are your Publish settings and Quiz Reporting settings?

Hi, I have the same problem here. All settings are the same as CP3 but no manifest or zip is published. Is this an application error?

Hi,

Check if Full Screen option is selected in publish dialog. Uncheck and publish should solve the issue.

thanks

Hi All,

Try this - in the Cp4 project, open Edit->Preferences->Reporting and make sure Pass/Fail is selected. Change it to Complete/Incomplete if required and click on Ok. Clicking Ok is important.

Now try publishing with the full screen option unselected.

This should solve the problem. It did for me!

In your Project > Advanced Interactions dialog, do you have any interactions/quizzes tracked and scored?

In your Quiz > Quiz Preferences, you have 'Enable reporting fot this project' checked? and 'SCORM selected as the standard?

I had a similar problem.  I tried the options listed above, and I also tried deleting the .DAT file (referred to in another post).  Nothing worked.  I tried publishing the files to a different location on my hard drive, and it worked!  Strange...so, after several attempts at publishing to the same location I wasn't able to publish.  When I chose a new location for saving the published files, it worked.
