I have an upgraded version to Captivate 4. I am attempting to create a simulation with click boxes. Everything is working well with the exception of the click box sound. When I play the movie, there is not a mouse click sound when I click the boxes. I have not checked the "Disable Click Sound" box.
I think I must have changed a setting somewhere because I did not have this problem with Captivate 2 or 3.
I've included snapshots of the Click Box settings and the Publish Settings Preferences.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

please go to: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate Hulk\Gallery\SoundEffects and verify whether you the KeyClick.mp3 file. This file is what gives the click sound at runtime.

Hi there
Ummm, shouldn't Hulk be something different?

I don't have the Adobe Captivate Hulk folder. However, I do have the KeyClick.mp3 in the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 4\Gallery\SoundEffects
I also placed it in the Mouse\ClickSounds folder since there was nothing there. (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 4\Gallery\Mouse\ClickSounds)
Still no sound.

No click when playing back the project file, or no click when playing back the published file?
I've often heard no click in the working file but the clicks 'work' in the published file.
I've also heard clicks where they're specifically off in the project file, that are silent in the published one.
So before you worry, test it published first.
If it still happens despite settings, try unchecking the option, doing a 'SaveAs', and recheck the option.
While 90% of my CP file publish correctly, every once in a while a click slips through that should, or should not, be there.
Pretty rare, AND I've no noticed that happen at all with CP4. Definitely more an issue with CP 1 and 2.

I tried checking the click sound option, saving, then unchecking it and saving it again. I published both and played the published file. Neither had the click sound.
Although it is not a show stopper for the current course I am working on, it will be for other courses. Thanks for all of your help.

I broke down and uninstall anything to do with Captivate and reinstalled Captivate 4. This fixed the problem. I must have made a change to a setting, I just have no clue what that setting was.
Thanks for all of your help.
