Captivate 6: Not generating Text Entry Boxes in Training Mode

New Here ,
Feb 05, 2013 Feb 05, 2013

I'm attempting to create a training simulation in Captivate 6, but where the Text Entry Boxes should be, Click Boxes are being created instead. This occurs in both Training Simulation and Assessment Simulation modes.

The Automatically Add Text Entry Boxes field is checked.

My Captivate software is also fully updated.

Is there a fix or workaround for this?

Hello Tomchuk,

Even I have experienced this sometime but not consistent. Are you able to consistently get this? If so, I'd like to setup a remote connect session with you, can you please email viswanat@adobe.com?

Thanks,

Vish

I am running into the same issue. When I am at home working on my laptop through VPN, I can get the TEBs to display. When I am at work, though, on my desktop there, Captivate 6 does not create the TEBs. Several of my colleagues are running into this issues as well. Captivate doesn't seem to pick up ANY of our keyboard entries (TEB, enter, tab etc.), only mouse commands.
