Captivate 6 Question - Importing ppt

Guest

Captivate 6 question - I am continuing to get this error when trying to import a PPT presentation. " Unable to import Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. The file may be damaged. " I have tried multiple presentations and still get the same error no matter what presentation I try to import. Any ideas on what my problem may be?

Hi There,

Please run Captivate as an Administrator Mode and then try to Import it, if that doesn't work. Open PPT and save it as .PPT.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Thank you for your response.  However, both of your suggestions did not work.  I am running in Admin mode.  I also tried to change the PowerPoint from PPTX to PPT and then import.  I am still getting the same error.

Any other suggestions??

for the record, I had this same problem on one of my machines, but not the other. On the problem PC, the problem was the same wtih Captivate 5.5 and 6.  Saving the PowerPoint as a PPT seems to have fixed it.
