Captivate 9-Web Object not displaying when border is disabled

New Here ,
Oct 28, 2016 Oct 28, 2016

I'm having a persistent issue with removing the border from web objects. The web object will only appear when the border is enabled. When I uncheck the border option, I cannot see the web object. I am using Captivate 9, viewing the file on our server with IE11 (not previewing), and publishing as a SWF. I cannot overlay items to hide the border either. Any ideas why this won't work?

While trying to reproduce your concern, I noticed that loading a YouTube URL in the Webobject under Cp9 (Fresh install, updated) the Auto Load checkbox triggers the video to play under Authoring mode. NOT in preview, NOT published, while authoring!

The audio doesn't stop when moving to another slide, or closing the project. I had to quit Captivate, multiple tries, same result!

Hi John,

We were unable to reproduce your issue on our end. Is this happening with a specific project or specific URL which you are providing to the web object? If so, you can share the project with us by uploading the CPTX to a shared location and sharing the link at : mdas@adobe.com

Thanks,

Mohana
