Captivate Cutting off Bottom and Right Hand Side of Screen

Community Beginner ,

Hi Folks,

I am at my wits end here, hopefully you can help. Anytime I try and record something (have tried both sfotware demo and new video demo) it cuts off the bottom of my screen and some of the right hand side. I have tried custom (moving the red bar), capture entire window, snap to application, literally everything.

HELP?!!

Check the Display Percentage of your screen, You need to set it back to 100% for both software simulations and Video demo.

It needs to be 100%, not to any other percentage. Since you have to record you need to see the real size.

Have you perhaps changed te display of the applicatio in another way (zooming is also possible with CTRL combinations?

I am trying to record a PowerPoint in slideshow mode, so I dont think I will have to the ability to zoom in or out of that view - although I could be wrong?

Any application can be zoomed in/out.

See if lowering the resolution on your display could help....

Also to change the size of your pptx presentation, click Set Up Show and select the Show Type as "Browsed by an individual (window)"

Do you have a second monitor? I have found when I try to run a recording from a second monitor I sometimes run into problems. Try recording on your primary monitor and see if that also helps.
