Captivate Error

Good Day

 

Not sure if anyone have come across this issue before. The Captivate 8.0 license was ordered in 2014.

The user cannot proceed wih the questionnaire as it is “stuck” at the point of submitting.

 

Not sure if this might be the reason for the issue.

 

  • This happens when the back button was used to revisit a previous question. 

 

“When the questions are done and the back button was not used, the Submit all button works fine.”

 

Is this due to how the questionnaire was created or is the only way to fix the issue by cancelling and starting again with the questionnaire?

Is Backward Movement in quiz disabled in Quiz > Settings?

 

I would also suggest you get your company to immediately update Captivate to version 2019 11.5 as version 8 is now VERY old.  Your issue could very well be due to changes that have been introduced by browser manufacturers in recent years.  Keeping Captivate up to date is always a good idea.
