I just need to know will Captivate ever work on a mac? I need to be able to demonstrate how to use a mac, as well as software training.

We are a mac based school, have all the macromedia products but not captivate.

I want to be a captive!

Hi TrevorSimmons and welcome to our community

Unfortunately, you seem to think that maybe Adobe is keeping an eye on these forums. Which they don't. This is all user-to-user.

If you want to make it loud and clear to them that they should consider a Mac version of Captivate, Click here and complete the wish form. I assure you that these don't fall off into some unknown black hole. Each of these that is submitted is actually viewed by development staff as well as the Captivate product manager!

Cheers... Rick

As a workaround until Captivate is available on the Mac, assuming it
ever is, you could look at using VNC to access the Mac from a PC,
assuming you have both types of computers attached to a network.
It may be a little laggy but may get it done.
I forget the VNC product we have installed on an OS X Mac here -
probably used something from
www.redstonesoftware.com/vnc.html
Then we use RealVNC on the PCs to access the Mac.
May be worth a try...
