Capturing Keyboard Keystrokes

I am building a tutorial involving the use of Microsoft Outlook 2010 and want to demonstrate the use of the keyboard for easier navigation rather than using the mouse. Is there a way I can simulate keyboard keys being pushed while the movement is also being displayed in Outlook simultaneously, without having to use my mouse? I have noticed that in software simulation mode it won't work unless I am using my mouse to click my way through each step. Any tips you can offer would greatly appreciated!

You can associate a shortcut key to each added click box in a simulation, even exclude the click itself, so that the user has to use the shortcut keys. There are some exceptions, keys that will be used by the browser or the LMS.

No, I never used that, it is certainly not available out of the box. You could create one, using images covered with click boxes or creating shape buttons filled with the image of a key?
