Is there a way of changing the shape of a tab widget so it isnt distorted?
I'm new to this software so I'm not 100% on anything, all I need are tabs to show text and a title, sounds simple but I'm having trouble! Any ideas please??

I guess you are referring to the Tab interaction. You can't change the shape of the tab in that. You need to use one of the 7-8 options available in the interaction.
What exactly do you mean by distorted? Please post a screenshot. The distortion can probably be resolved without changing the shape. What is the CP version? What is the output? In which browser are you seeing this issue?

Thanks for the reply... I'm working on CP 7 and Iwas talking about the tab interaction, i have attached a picture to show you,

As you can see the tabs are oversized and the whole thing looks really bad compared to what it looks like if you don't change the shape.
I am publishing as scorm1.2 to blackboard!

As another option I have tired to make my own tabs but I've come across an issue... After clicking the tabs a couple of times the slide moves on?
I have used just show and hide commands for the buttons the overview button hiding the text to show the title and the text button showing the text widget, but as I said after a couple of clicks it moves onto the next slide???

Are you using advanced actions to show/hide? Could you post a screenshot of the action, and perhaps also of the timeline?

I'm using standard actions!

I hope this helps!

No, this is a simple action, not a standard advanced action. Pausing point of each button is very near to the start of the slide, first thought there was no pausing. What is the reason? All the frames after the pausing have no real sense.

Sorry for all this editing, seems I'm still jet lagged. Because you have such a long 'inactive' portion, playhead is released and will reach the end of the slide, even if you click only once on a tab

Please have a look at my blog post and/or video. Links were posted by Sreekanth.
You did push the pausing point forward on purpose, why? This is not the default pausing, which is normally at 1.5 seconds for a button duration of 3 secs.
You have to replace the simple action by a standard advanced action if you don't want to have the playhead released when the action is executed.
Please, take some time to understand the tool. That is why some users spend so much time to help other users.

It looks like the tab interaction has not been resized proportionately. Try proportionate resizing and see if it looks any better.
If you want to create your tab interaction, you need to use simple action instead of standard action.
