Prior to placing any question slides in my project I would like to be able to change their default font sizes and colours of the:

A. Question title (1) below,

B. The X and Y, font size and colour of the Question header (2) below

C. The X and Y, font size and colour of the answer options (3) below

...so that when I enter for example 3 blank Multiple Choice questions, and 3 blank True and False - all the blank question slides appear have the font colur, size and layout as below. Then all I have to do is apply the background via the Master Slide.

Is this possible ? I have looked in Object Style Manager but cannt see how to achieve this

Thanks...

Noel

Noel, if you REALLY want to save your time, my suggestion is to have your default template already set up with one or two preformatted quiz slides of each question type.

Then, all you need to do is select any of these quiz slides, hit Ctrl + D to duplicate them, and change the text as needed.  That's what I do.

Yes you can set object styles for the Question Title object and the Question Text object and the Question Answer object, but currently object styles do not allow you to specify the X and Y coordinates.  So you have to create all your question slides first, and then select one of these objects, position it, and then apply to all objects of that type.

In my experience, having all the question types ready to just show or hide as needed is the better way to go.

Thanks Rod,

Your idea is a good idea...many thanks.

Can I copy a question slide from one project and paste it into a new question section of another project ?

Yes you can.  As long as they are both the same version of Captivate.
