Click box populates number into text field for submission

Hello,

I am trying to have a learner click on a click box, which will then populate a number into a text box to be submitted. The user will have a couple 100 options to choose from, so I am trying to log which one the learner picks by having the number captured in a text box. Is there a way to do this? Below is a screen shot, I have about 50 slides like this one.

Right now, I simply have the text box at the bottom of each slide for input, which works, but it would be nice for the user to click instead of have to enter text.
