Clicking the OK button in a dialog box doesn't record in a demo

I can't seem to get Captivate to record the click of the OK button when I'm recording a dialog box. Can anyone help please?

Hi Jill,

Could you please try steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

  • Close Captivate
  • Go to Display Settings by Right Click on your Desktop
  • Under Display tab, adjust "Change the size of text, apps, and other items" to 100%
  • Apply the settings
  • Launch Captivate and test the issue again.

I am using Captivate 2017 on Windows 10.

for example, when I open the page layout dialog box to change a setting from portrait to landscape, after I make the selection, I have to click OK in the dialog box to finalize that selection. When I try to record this with Captivate, all the clicks up to and including making the selection are recorded, but the final click on the OK button doesn't record. I tried it several times and in dialog boxes in different application types with the same result. clin on the OK button not recorded.
