Is is possible to disable a 'next' button or disable going to the next slide on the navigation bar until all content has been viewed (ex: all hotspots have been clicked or all cards have been flipped)?
Additionally, is it possible to have this disabled navtigation only for the first time a user takes the module? That way, if they have to go back and review the same module, they wouldn't have to click every part of a widget to navigate between slides.

I could offer you shared actions right away if this was an older version. But in the new version reusability is almost impossible, and explaining a workflow with all the step-by-step interactions you need to build! Forcing a view can be done by putting a bookmark on each slide at the point where all has been accomplished. You'll need some user variables, and create interactions in the very slow workflows needed for that. An interaction can be copy/pasted and than edited. But there is no reusable way like with shared actions, where you just need to fill in some parameters. The New version is not suited at this moment for advanced situations, just for basic PPT-like presentations.
This is the shared action which I use regularly for Forced view, impossible in version 12:

And this is the one to change the behavior when it is not the first view, which now can be done with a static bookmark.

Hi @Ashley888YMX ,
Thank you for writing to us.
To answer your query, the new Captivate prevents proceeding until all hotspots or cards are viewed.
In the Settings section of the Visual Properties panel of Hotspots or Cards, there's a toggle, Move to next slide when the widget completes, which you can enable/disable to control your content.
Thanks,
Saurav
