Hi there

There is no facility to to that in Captivate. At least none I've ever found.

I'm thinking you might try the following:

  1. Create the table using Microsoft Word, then copy from Word and paste into a transparent Caption. I have my douts as to if this will even work, but it may be worth trying to see.
  2. Likely you will end up creating the table as you wish for the user to see it. Use Microsoft Word or another tool. Then take a screen shot of the table and insert it into Captivate as an Image objec

Hi Chinmay

Excellent work around!

For anyone reading this thread now or later, the option to edit the PPT is only available in Captivate 4.

Cheers... Rick

Devon,

What I usually do is create the table in Word and copy and paste it over. If you have Cap. 4, you could also just draw a rectangle and put lines inside to create your own...

Hi.

This can also be achieved in the following way:

1. Create a PPT presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint.

2. Insert a table into it. Save it.

3. Now within your project inside Captivate, go to File>Import and select PowerPoint Slides.

4. Select the saved PPT and import it into Captivate.

Advantage following the above steps is, if you want to change the data of the table, you can use Edit PPT option within Captivate to edit the data of the table.

Thanks.

Chinmay.
