Drop down in the Actions, "On Success" menu does not open

Hello,

I'm using Adobe Captivate 9 (on Mac) and the drop down for "On Success" in the Actions tab does not open to show the other options.  I have to click on it to activate it and then use my up/down arrows to scroll thru the options.  Is this a bug in Captivate or in Mac??  Is there a fix for it?

Thanks!

Can you check the exact version number? It should be 9.0.2.437.

Recently another user reported a similar issue. Did you try:

  1. to reset the workspace (Classic) if you are on the newbie UI?
  2. clear the cache
  3. Clean the Preferences
  4. When installing Captivate patch, did you delete the folders described in the release note?

In case you get stuck, I've got a video on clearing the preferences.

Hi, Thanks for the quick response!

I am running the version you listed. My workspace is already on Classic, I

reset but that did not do anything. I will clear cache and clean

preferences, however, I'm not sure what patch you are referring to? How

can I get that patch?

Thanks,

Maria

Since you are on that version, you probably installed a patch once, because that is not the original version (it is the third one for CP9). At that moment you should have followed the Release notes, but most users don't bother about reading them. Not everything happens automatically, which is a pity.

Hmmm, ok, I don't recall doing that as I just purchased the program in late November of last year.  Either way, now that  I know, I will certainly do that.

Thanks so much for your guidance, it is much appreciated.
