Editing backgrounds in Photoshop

Advocate ,

I right-clicked on a library item and choose to edit it in Photoshop. It opened in Photoshop just fine, but when I saved and closed it, Captivate hung. I've tried this several time using different images, with the same results. Is this possibly a bug or a lack of enough memory on my computer?

I don't know, not having tried this method in CP3. Born from habits
formed with earlier versions of the product, I just copy the background
from the slide, paste it into Photoshop, edit, flatten, select-all, then
paste-as-background back to that same slide.
Has worked perfectly fine for years.

I would Guess it's a memory issue, since CP is memory-loving, but either
way, may be a lot easier just to change the approach?
Cheers,
Erik

Been testing this feature tonight. Seems Photoshop has to be CLOSED when you
launch from Captivate, otherwise things might go awry
