Embed HTML5 Captivate into Website

Hello,

I am trying to embed an HTML5 published Captivate 9 course into my Bluehost website. I have worked with importing a SCORM file into Moodle, and that worked great... but I am looking to be able to make something more accessible to learners (something that ends up looking like this: http://elearningtools.us/cp6/harmony/html5/Introduction%20to%20Harmony%20700/index.html). I have scoured forums and other help sites, but haven't been able to find the instructions that I require.

Might anybody patient enough to type out some rather detailed instructions be able to help me out (i.e. "click here"... "then insert this file here", "then change this setting" type instructions!)?

A couple questions that go along with this:

  1. Can I do this with a responsive project as well?
  2. Is there any creative way you can think of to track completion stats if I use this method?

Thank you very, very much!!

Shanna

You don't need to embed.

You just need to put all of the files on the server and link to the index file, with it opening in a new page.

Not sure what you can do on your hosting.

Tracking can be done through Google Sheets. If you are not familiar with JavaScript, it would be almost impossible to walk you though it.

There is a similar tutorial on eLearning brothers site for a "scoreboard" in Captivate.

I want to embed the HTML5 so It plays in the page it is embedded in.  I don't want it launching a new page.  I can do this with MP4 but cannot see how to do it with HTML5

Yes but this results in you being taken to another page.  I want the video to display in the web page and to play in the web page.  I will be using this video in different systems and in documentation and in all instances I need it to play with out going to another page.

Did you figure this out? I want to do the same. A project on a website that is interactive there, not launching a new tab.

Thanks

You need to create an html page and load the CP file in an iframe.
