Hi,

I have created a number of captivate training modules which all work fine in Preview HTML.  I Publish to Computer, upload to SCORM send them out for pilot and they all work fine.  But, to get them uploaded onto our LMS my L&D team ask for me to upload the Zip folder to a shared area so they can 'extract all' and open the 'index_scorm.html' file for them to view it before they upload it.  This has been fine for the first few modules I sent over to them but the latest one plays the voice overs but not all of the graphics, writing etc. After you click ok to the error about not being connected to the API etc, it goes into a 'Loading' Square circle thing and then loads corrupted.  None of the others do this and they all have the same publishing specs.  I am currently going through it slide by slide hiding slides and republishing to see if there is an error on one of the slides that is causing this.  Has anyone had this issue before?  Cheers Mike

First test your SCORM on SCORM Cloud so that you can prove to your LMS people that the SCORM is valid and does work on a SCORM compliant LMS.

If your L&D team are doing this "extract all" on a LAN server location and not a Web Server (HTTP) then tell them to do that.  You cannot get Captivate's HTML5 content to work from a LAN.

If they ARE ysing a Web Server but encountering this problem, then the most likely reason reason is that the web server is not configured to allow JSON files.  Captivate's HTML5 output requires JSON to work properly.
