I am using Captivate 4 and have come across a question that I think I know that answer, but wanted to make sure since I don't use Captivate a lot.

Is there a way to format the text within the text box such as indent, hanging indents, tabs, etc. I know there isn't anything as far as icons, but didn't know about special features.

Thanks

Hi there

Does the term "Text Boxes" refer to Text Captions or to Text Entry Boxes?

Text Captions have formatting options:

tmp2.png

And Text Entry Boxes also have some formatting options:

So you do have options, but we don't know what you are referring to.

Cheers... Rick

Rick,

Thanks for the quick reply. I am referring to Text Captions. Basically what we are looking for is the capability to indents, hanging margins, etc.

I know we have the indent option, but is there a way to change this spacing to what we need? Also, is it possible to set margins within the Caption box or are we limited to the alignment options.

One question, since I am asking probably very basic questions, when you set the size and position, can this be applied to all future text boxes?

Thanks again for your help.
