I have images with the backgrounds removed, then saved  in Photroshop as a PNG. I import these images into my Captivate project and place them above a smart shape. They look fine in the project until I publish them. In the published project all the PNGs have funny/pixley edges and white areas. How can I resolve this?

Hi there

You might try adjusting the Slide Quality. If it's just an image here and there, adjust the individual slide quality. (Properties panel > General section) I find that Optimized works well for my stuff.

If nearly every slide has issues, you are better off adjusting quality for the entire project. (Edit > Preferences > Project > SWF Size and Quality)

Cheers... Rick

Hey Rick, Thanks! I changed the quality to high and the pictures look great! There is still a little jaggedness on some images, but theis is a 90% improvment. Much appreceated, Ken
