Getting AVI files from Captivate 5

I have several lessons created in captivate 4 and 5 that I want as an AVI file as final output file. When I publish from Captivate 5 as F4v file, what is the best way of converting it to an avi file?

My misunderstanding then. I was thinking you were saying that if you used the "Variable" frame rate, things were okay. So I was thinking you could output that way, then pop into the media encoder to transcode to a different format such as AVI.

Indeed, I just looked (Media Encoder CS5) and SWF isn't on the list. Sorry
