Hello - I would like to avoid duplicative work by inserting Captivate slides from previous projects into one. I have searched through the community and Youtube and the only thing I have been able to find is how to import from PowerPoint. What I want to do is similar in concept, but I want to effectively import from Captivate to Captivate.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Joanna
I finally figured it out. Took some finagling, but it is an interesting quirk in Cp 2017 responsive training.
The copy and paste option works, however, you have to set your master slide layout to a slide with no content so that it becomes visible - otherwise, whatever you have as your master slide, will cover the pasted slide and give the impression that the paste did not work.

Projects need same resolution (size in px).. Open both and copy/paste
slide(s).

Thank you for the quick response, but this does not allow me to manipulate the slide - it is a copy/image of the slide. I would like to import the slide as if it were native to my file.

It is the slide with all its objects, timelines and eventually advanced actions attached to interactive objects. Long time ago there was an import option, but that has been replaced by the copy/paste using the MDI (Multiple Display Interface) where you have both projects open in two tabs. Why do you say it is not 'native' to the file?
You need to use the same theme of course. Did you customize the theme? In that case please save that theme as a custom theme and apply it to the new project.

What I mean by 'native' is that when I paste the slide, I get an image of my title master slide. I must be doing something wrong. I am using Captivate 2017. Not sure if that matters. Thanks again.

Thanks to all respondents for your assistance.
