How do I STOP the play back of an inserted animation from a button?

Just when I think I am 'getting' Captivate, Captivate gives me yet another challenge!

I have two animations inserted on a slide and I have a play 1, play 2, and a stop (all animations). This worked fine until I added audio to the inserted animations.

Now I realize that the stop button only hides the animations. While they are hidden, they continue to play the audio.

So my question is, how the heck do I stop the animation from a button?

Thank you.

I tried to solve this problem by creating an advanced action with rdcmndGotoFrame := rdInfoCurrentFrame

And also tried... rdcmndGotoFrame := rdInfoCurrentFrame - 5

Still no love here!

How the heck do I stop a video?

Thanks to Rick for suggesting that I create duplicate slides with each video on a dedicated slide. My stop button is set to jump to the slide before the video.

It's messy but it works. I guess Adobe forgot to include an option to stop an inserted animation!

Rick, go ahead and reply in this post and I will give you credit.
