How do you correct randomized quiz navigation issues?

Community Beginner ,

Hello,

I'm building a randomized 10 question quiz from a pool of 28 questions.  When I publish the project and test in an LMS (I've tried 2) I'm having some navigation issues.  I have back, skip, clear, and submit buttons.  Not all buttons will activate all the time.  Also, at times it will not let me select an answer or if an answer is selected it will not let me submit.  I'll have to hit the back button then the skip button twice to get past that question.  I was able to complete the quiz on one LMS, but the other it was so bad I couldn't complete the quiz.  Any assistance is appreciated.

That is the same pause as for the question slide. Take out the pause for

the shape buttons.

Which version are you using?

Did you perhaps delete some of the embedded objects: those objects that do not have an individual timeline?

I'm using Captivate 9.  I'm not sure about the embedded objects.  It may have been the LMSs I was trying to use, just tried in SCORM Cloud and got better results.  I'm finalizing a few aspects of the quiz now and I'm going to give it another shot.  I'll let you know how it comes out.  Thanks for checking in.

If it works on SCORM Cloud, the problem is with the LMS indeed. Which SCORM version are you using?

I used 1.2.  I may have not had all the SCORM setting correct in the first version I published....I'm living up to the newbie tag Adobe has given me.  If you have a minute I just published another question on multi-state objects.  Thanks

Answered already that question as well. I don't understand however why it is 'multistate', since you talk about two objects. Or do you have on object with a Success and a Failure state? That was not clear. Please, answer in the other thread.

Ok, I'm realizing a few things about my navigation issue.  It is only happening on certain slides.  The unique thing about the that this is occurring on is that these slides have extra buttons on them.  I created two smart shapes on each of these slides to act as links to documents that are needed as support information for the exam.  These aren't working correctly yet either, they open a new tab in the browser, but the document (a pdf) isn't found.  I think I'm just not placing the source docs in the correct publishing folder.  So is there a reason these buttons would affect quiz navigation?

Where is the pausing time if those buttons?

It's a 3 sec slide and the pause is at 1.5 secs.

Thanks for the assistance.  The last bug I'm trying work out is the embedded pdf issue.  I'm going to post another question on it in a few minutes if you have time.  THANKS!

Was in dreamland. PDF has to be pointed to with a relative path, and included in the published folder, root.
