How to prevent default blurring of underlying video?

How do I prevent the default blurring of an underlying video whenever an overlay slide is introduced? Also, the opacity setting for the overlay slide background doesn't seem to work. I'd like to set opacity to 0% and entirely remove the overlay background. And also set the clickable buttons/shapes to 0% opacity so that the user just interacts directly with unblurred video content. Thanks.

My solution for this is to simply place the interactive objects on the slide at the point of the timeline. For example, I have recently created a knowledge check that pauses at the point on the video where an overlay would normally go. Then once you click on the interactive objects (in my case shapes used as buttons), I just the applicable bookmarks in question. Works beautifully with no blurring of the background video.

Hi Paul,

Yes that could be a solution without using the overlay.
