Hyperlinking PDF

I have hyperlinked a PDF to my training course; however, it looks like it's going to open up in the same internet tab as the course. This is an issue because when employees close out of it, they will be closing the course as well. Is there a way to have it open in a separate tab so that the rest of the course will still be pulled up when they are finished reading the PDF?

Sure: open the small trinagular button next to the field where you put the name of the pdf:

Did you test it out after publishing? That would be very strange, because it means a new tab. Do you publish to HTML?

I haven't published it yet. If it still does it after I publish, I will let you know.
