When I published my project, it turned out to be wayyyyyy too big. Curious what people say about the best size for a project. Right now I am at 1907x1007. Good greif, if I have been paying closer attention I would have known better. Now there is scrolling both up and down and side to side. EeeeK! In your opinion, what size works best for showing on a typical browser. We just moved to MS Edge

You need to take into account the lowest resolution that your users will possibly have, the real estate taken by the browser and/or the LMS to calculate the best resolution. Do not forget that file size depends also a lot on the chosen resolution. If users will access the course using mobile devices, that are not wired at all and have less powerful system features, maybe lower bandwidth, this can be very important.
I will mostly keep to a width of 1024px, and height depending on what I told about the real estate from browser/LMS. Often it will be 627px, will avoid scrolling for almost every user.
