I'm using Captivate 4 with the 'text to speech' plug in. Do you know how to

make the speaker (Paul or Kate) pause between words?

Hi,

You could use the below tag:

<vtml_pause time="1000"/>

example:

  Login here to view the details<vtml_pause time="1000"/> use your email in user id field.

This inserts a pause of one second between the two sentences.

Hope this helps.

Where/How did you learn to use a tag to accomplish this task? Is there a reference for this type of instruction?

Thanks,

Barbara

I substitute periods for commas when I want the speaker to pause.
