Hello
Good Morning/Good Evening.
Please forgive me if my explanation is not clear as I am not a native English speaker. But I have made full efforts to write it down in a clear way so that it is easily understandable. I tried to solve this issue myself but I am was not able to solve it.
Explanation Below:
In my captivate project of 5 slides, on the Main slide, there is a settings button that is used to open a popup with a CC button & Hide button inside the popup.
The Settings button, Popup with the CC button, and Close button will be present throughout the course.
When the Settings button on the main slide is clicked, it should open the Popup in which the CC button & Close button are present, but by clicking the Settings button it will hide the Closed Captioning which is at the bottom of the slide in "GREEN COLOR".
The CC button is used to show & hide the Closed Captioning which is at the bottom of the slide in "GREEN COLOR".
When the CC button is turned ON it should turn ON the Closed Captioning, with the Closed Captioning ON if the Hide button is clicked it will hide the popup with the CC button & close button inside the popup, but the Closed Captioning should still be ON throughout the course.
When the CC button is turned OFF it should turn OFF the Closed Captioning, with the Closed Captioning OFF if the Hide button is clicked it will hide the popup with the CC button & close button inside the popup, but the Closed Captioning should still be OFF throughout the course.
How to write advanced action for this type of scenario?
Thank You!

Can you show the Advanced Interaction panel with everything expanded for this slide? Make sure to be able to read the names of the interactions column.
Which actions are you using at this moment, I have problems understanding the issue. How do you realize the popup? Which language do you speak? Maybe it is better to post in your mother tongue and let us translate. personally I am also fluent in Dutch and French, rather good in German, bit less in Spanish and Italian.

Mam basically the expectation is to hide the default closed captioning when the settings button is clicked.
When cc button is turned ON the closed captioning will be ON and it will be on through out the course even when the hide button is clicked.
When cc button is turned OFF the closed captioning will be OFF and it will be on through out the course even when the hide button is clicked.
Below is the screenshot and video with an explanation. I hope this will help.

Please I asked to make the column with the actions visible, it is the Success column. I see that you have 4 advanced or shared actions, but not what they are doing exactly. You seem to use 'CC' as label and use 'Hide' as name as wellfor a button? Please don't use that type of labels, you may bump on reservered key words. I wonder if you are not using the same name for the advanced actions, reason why I wanted to see them in the Success column.
I would for sure group the 4 buttons because you show and hide them at the same time and if I'm correct from the Timeline they are timed for the rest of the project.
I see that the button CC has an added custom state, can I see the Object state panel for that button?
On the Timeline I don't see any button which is pausing the slide. What do you expect to happen when the last frame of the slide is reached?

My Apologise for not sending a clear image!
Thank you mam for correcting the mistake. I have changed the keywords.
A column with the actions visible
Advanced actions for all the buttons
Yes the buttons are timed for rest of the project.
Object state panel of CC:
At the last frame of the slide the slide should stop playing.

I see that you have a Failure action for all the buttons, which means that you don't have Infinite Attempts for those buttons! Why did you limit the attempts? At least put that Failure action to 'No Action' instead of Continue.
How do you pause at the last frame? The On Exit event has No action, and that could pause the slide after the last frame. Do you have a button for that goal on the master slide to pause at the last frame?

Mam it was created by default when I created these buttons.
I am not able to find and change the failure action of a button from continue to No action.
No, I don't have a button for
a goal on the master slide and don't have an idea on how to do it..

Check the Actions tab for those buttons and check the option Infinite Attempts.
If you want each slide to pause at its end, insert a shape button on the main master slide. Make it invisible bu setting both Alpha and Stroke to 0. It will automatically pause each slide at its end, whatever the duration, if you keep the default settings. You only have to make sure that each used daughter master slide inherits the objects on the main master slide. I just hope this is a non-responsive project.

Were you able to solve the problem? You didn't confirm that.

Mam I am working on that. When it comes to advanced action do we need to create a new advanced action? Actually this is a responsive project. To try out I created it in a dummy static project.

Oops, now you are in trouble if you are talking about a responsive project with Fluid Boxes! There is no way to time any object for the rest of the project, and you cannot use the Main master slide to pause at the end of a slide neither.
Because of the Timeline you showed at the start of this thread, I assumed that you were on a non-responsive project since you have multiple objects timed for the rest of the project. Now it becomes very complicated!

Mam I will skip this topic for now.
I don't want to waste your time mam. As you have helped me a lot in the past and still helping.
As this thread is also getting long.
In future I will come with clear explanation and ask you if any doubt mam.
Thank you 🙏

Just one last tip: you have to forget to use Show/Hide if this is a Fluid Boxes project. Use multistate objects and Change State or another State command. Since you cannot time for the rest of the project, you'll need a lot of instances and advanced actions. Replace all advanced actions by shared actions.

Sure Mam!
