I'm trying to add a notes widget for learners to capture their reflections during an interactive video. There are 3 places for the learner to pause (using overlay). After the first pause, the note can be saved, and then click a button to jump to a bookmark and continue the video. The notepad icon shows up on all 3 overlay slides, but the continue button doesn't work on the second and third slides unless the note is deleted. If the note is deleted, even though previously saved by the learner, then the notepad that shows up on the third overlay slide doesn't have any of the previous notes on it, and the continue button won't work until the note is deleted.
Any insight into this (or point me to a place to look) would be most welcome.
Thanks.

I see you didn't get any answers. Although I have created interactive videos I have never used the Notes widget in them. Did you put the Notes widget on the slide with the interactive video, or on a static slide before the video (which would be my choice)? You need to time it for the rest of the project of course.
Which exact version are you using on which OS? You find the full version number under Help, About Captivate.

Thanks for the response. It's version 11.5.5.678 on Mac Big Sur. I used the notes slides as overlays, as they are meant to be a time to "pause and reflect" on the materials in the video. I managed to get it to work by adding a notes widget to each of the overlay slides, and setting the timing to "rest of slide" instead of "rest of project." I don't know why it works, but it does.
