Mac vs PC cause slide errors? help!

I have a MAC - my boss has a PC

I created a file in the latest update of captivate...

Some of the images on the slide have delays, some have advance actions...

On my side, when i publish it and test it via the .htm file or cloud or my LMS, it works fine.

When my boss tries it, this page in question jumps to the next page half way through the interactions...

I had him clear his cache, log in as a different user in my LMS and it still happens.

Is this a common/known issue when it comes to PC vs MAC?

Help!  How can i fix this?????

Majority of my users are PC.

Are you using exactly the same version, please?

I am confused by some explanation: by 'delays' I suppose you mean that some images are staggered on the timeline, appear later than the first frame of a slide? Or are you talking about the 'Delay ... ' command?

There is no way to attach an advanced action to an image? Can you please show a screenshot of the timeline? Want to see the pausing points and the interactive object(s) which is triggering advanced actions. Can you also show that advanced action?

Hi Lilybiri!

Here are my screen shots. The idea is the next button (called fake forward) is staggered in the timeline.

Once they click the fake one, this advance actions take place...

But on the PC, the advance actions arent happening and it just jumps to the next page.

Does that help?

Why do you have two different pausing points for the two Next buttons? Which event is triggering the advanced action which you posted? Is that the On Enter slide event?

What is the goal of those two Next buttons? Is it to force to view everything on the slide on first visit, but not on later visits? In that case, have a look at: https://elearning.adobe.com/2018/05/force-view-slide-first-visit/
