Open .cptx file with license 2019

Hello

I have my license Captivate 11.5.5 and my colleague sent me a .cptx file created in Captivate Classic 11.8.2 that I cannot open. Is there a way I can work with that file?

Sorry if this is already answered, any comments or suggestions are appreciated.

I'm sorry, the two versions are not compatible. Very weird, but be lucky: version 11.5.5.553 is lot more stable. The new Captivate Classic has lot of bugs, and some features were deprecated all in name of SWF-technology involved. Although they worked in HTML output.

The only way you would be able to open your colleague's 11.8 Captivate CPTX is if you upgrade your Captivate version to the same.  But as Lieve points out, there are some reasons why many choose to stay with version 11.5.5.  Your call.
