Captivate 8 importing pptx. I have tried just about every combination between, linking, aspect ratio, and high fidelity with varying levels of success. The Best combination seems to be selecting, link, high fidelity, and aspect ratio. But even that does not format the pptx properly. I have removed all video's from my pptx and that still doesn't work. Multple slides do not animate properly or display properly. Interestingly they display properly on screen before playing or exporting. But not when previewing or final export. Two main things happen, items that I have set in pptx to appear on screen after a click start on screen in Captivate. And elements (boxes with text) are getting cut off. Interestingly the cut offs are always on the right hand side.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am running windows 8.1 screen resolution is 3200 by 1800. Presentation is 1080p. Powerpoint 2013

Hi Devraj, I previously send my pptx and it was confirmed there is a bug in captivate. I spent a good deal of my time over the phone troubleshooting the issue with the final resolution having the bug be officially reported to be worked on. There was no timeframe put on resolution. I was on a 30 day trial and I was never able to use the software as it did not work. I requested to have my 30 days reset at a time when the bug was fixed in order to evaluate the software again. I was told that was simply not possible. The representative considering the time I put into helping test a broken piece of software said he would try and let me know. I never heard back. I have since un-installed the product.
It has now been several weeks and I am confused by your request coming so late and after the fact. It tells me Adobe needs to do some work on it's internal processes on top of the poor way it treats long times customers that spend hours helping troubleshoot products.

So far Captivate 8 is proving to be complete garbage. It constantly crashes and will not import pptx files, crashes on exit, and hangs. The quality at Adobe is poor. Consider downgrading back to Captivate 6 instead.
