I am trying the trial version of Adobe Captivate 2019 - I have used Articulate in the past, but thought I would try this out instead.  I imported my powerpoint presentation and it appears fine.  When I try to edit it (Edit presentation in powerpoint), it says "Creating temp file", then the screen goes blank.  No film strip, no anything.  Just a grey screen.  When I hit cancel, my presentation is still there.

After reading some posts, I have tried saving it as a .ppt instead of a .pptx, but it did nothing.  I have also tried opening as admin on both powerpoint and Captivate, but it didn't seem to help.

I am beyond frustrated, as I have spent hours trying to fix this issue - it doesn't help that I am somewhat challenged when it comes to computer systems.

I am running Windows 10 Pro

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500T CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

If anyone has any potential solutions, it would be greatly appreciated.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
