Problem with Input text entry box

Hello all.

I am facing a problem with a text input field.

I have taken a text enry box where it has multiple answers( For example a,b,c,d).

On success, based on the answer it should navigate to the respective slides(Slide A,B,C & D).

I have applied advanced action to navigate them accordingly. Navigation part is working fine.

It was assigned a keyboard shortcut "Enter".

The shortcut is not working always. very few times its working.

I have two more buttons in the same slide. But they are having the pause after the same duration. Do they make any difference in the output.

Sometimes I am facing another problem that, evn though the property of the button "pause after" is checked, the movie is ignoring it & moving ahead.

Why does the same project is getting different ouputs different times?

    ?Hello Kartik,

    Now I see that you are using Captivate 4, sorry for replies on other questions explaining from the CP5-viewpoint.

    In the timeline screenshot I do see 2 buttons pausing at the same time as the TEB, but do not know if they do use the same shortcut? Normally you cannot assign the same shortcut to different interactive objects on one slide.

    About pausing at the same time: once the user has clicked one of the buttons or submitted the entry in the TEB, the playhead will continue since there is no difference in pausing time. You did not show the advanced action you are using, do not know if you have 'No action' inserted there?

    Hi Lilybiri

    No problem. It was my mistake that I did not mention the Version I am using. my apologies.

    Coming to the issue, I did not assign any shortcuts for the other two buttons. In case of the advanced action, the navigation is taking place perfectly for the click on the TEB button, but not properly as it is supposed to be for press on "Enter" button every time.
