When a project expiration date is set under Project > Preferences menu, the Help says that the project can no longer be viewed after that date. What happens if the project has been File > Published as a Flash (or other) file? Does the Pulished file also expire or just the Captivate project file?

The project file doesn't expire..It'll just give a message to the person a message saying the file they're trying to view has expired.

Hi Barbara

As wxcinc stated, your user just sees a message indicating the date has been reached. I'm posting to add the following. It's not to be considered as anything remotely close to security. All your user has to do in order to continue using the project is to change the system date on the PC where the project is being played back and they can watch until their heart's content.

Cheers... Rick
