Hi there
Sorry, but this forum is for discussion of Adobe Captivate, not Reload Editor.
Perhaps you should visit the Reload Editor manufacturer site and see if they offer a forum to discuss Reload Editor issues?
Cheers... Rick

I know what the site and forum are for Rick,
But seeing as tho CP5 doesn't include the SCO - Packager anymore (Like CP4 did), I thought I might be able to get some help here,
I was given some help from other people on the forum to try this reload editor and thought someone might be able to help or point me in the right direction,
I've been through their site and google and their manual and everything else i can think of already, don't you think i would have tried there first.
Perhaps, you could help me out rather teaching me to suck eggs...
What do you use when you want to do this, now cap 5 only include this function with e-suite 2
Yours respectfully
J

Hi there
If others here recommended this package, I might think you should send them a private forum post asking for assistance. What you did was to post a general plea for assistance with a non-adobe product. I had no idea another forum participant advised you to try the product. FWIW, I see all kinds of folks that wander in here by mistake asking for help with all sorts of bizarre things. At minimum, you should have included some reference to the fact that you had been advised to try this product. Or you should have appended this onto whatever thread you were advised to do that in. That would provide some context and wouldn't have resulted in my volunteer forum moderator reply.
Sorry, but I don't mess with Captivate and SCO and all that. I might think that if you were seeking assistance with SCO stuff, you should probably have posted this in the Quizzing/LMS forum category. I'm happy to move the post to that category if it will help. Certainly if someone were using that package they might be frequenting that particular forum more than others.
Cheers and best of luck in sorting it... Rick

If you want to try and test a SCORM to see if it is valid, try the ADL Test Suite:
http://www.adlnet.gov/Technologies/scorm/SCORMSDocuments/2004%204th%20Edition/Test%20Suite.aspx
There's also a test track here by Rustici Software: http://www.scorm.com/scorm-solved/test-track/
Their SCORM player software is used in quite a few LMS systems. You can upload your SCORM zip file to see if it is valid.
However, none of this is a 100% guarantee that when you upload the same SCORM to your company's LMS it will all work as expected. The reality of the LMS landscape is that each LMS speaks a slightly different "dialect" of the SCORM language because they all tend to implement the standard a bit differently.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Don't want to ruffle feathers or encourage questions on third party non-adobe tools, but I cannot resist a desperate plea for help.
The RELOAD editor is useful for aggregating/packaging content and extremely useful for sequencing and complex course flows (if you are doing scorm 2004), but I personally would not rely on the preview part of it as the basis for whether your course is working.
RELOAD previews in a frameset with a TOC frame, but LMS's can launch content in a number of ways (framesets, new windows, etc...) so whether or not its working, cannot really tell from your screenshot especially without knowing what your course is designed to do as it is launched. Though it looks like maybe a standalone launch page is showing (but honestly I can barely make out the image on my screen).
If you are creating separate sco's in Captivate and trying to aggregate them using RELOAD, then yes that does work if done properly.
You could create each sco as a separate Captivate course, and then add them one at a time into RELOAD with each course (CP project) as its own sco.
The easiest way is to just add them in the order in which you would like them presented (though scorm 1.2 does not have a built in way of going BETWEEN sco's but individuals LMS's sometimes do).
However, note that the RELOAD editor will show you a content list/frame during the preview, but this is not in any way standard to LMS's out there. You may need to manage your individual sco's in more creative ways.
Might be a topic better suited outside the adobe forums though. Too many moving parts to solve in a quick reply.
Hope that clarifies a little bit at least (I realize that I may have tried cramming too many thoughts in there).

Hi Merthen,
You may find this webcast on Reload Editor helpful:
It deals with aggregating Cp content into one course.
Cheers,
