I have made an html-animation in Edge Animate and placed it in Captivate 9. The animation has several buttons that need to be clicked before the next and previous buttons are revealed. All this code is written in Edge Animate. The next and previous buttons set variables telling acptivate to move to the next or the previous slide. All this works perfectly well when put into Captivate.
In Captivate I have set an advanced action On Enter for the slide. This action hides the next and previous buttons used for all the slides in the course (Placed on the first page and set to display for the rest of the project)
In addition, the action locks the TOC.
Every time I navigate to this slide, the animation i reset and I have to click all the buttons to navigate further.
Is there a way to change the On enter action to a conditional action checking if the page has already been visited? And, if true, tell the animation that the conditions for showing the next and previous buttons are complete?

Yes that is very possible. However, I recommend your very first slide in the project is NOT used to trigger any ON Slide Enter actions. It's best to have a short initial slide with no actions or objects and start all the actual work on the second slide instead. This gives a little more time for everything to get loaded and set up.

Thank you. There are no On enter actions on the first slide.

Is your animation set to display for the entire project?
